Apapacho World is a small studio. We ship all orders, both domestic and international, once a week from Mexico City via carefully selected carriers. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking email with delivery details.
International shipping does not include import duties or customs fees. These charges, if applicable, are collected by your local customs office and are the customer's responsibility.
At studio Apapacho World we create products with a unique and imperfect nature, due to the manufacturing process and the material used. The product may vary slightly in color, size, even texture. Given the nature of the materials and the production process, you may see beautiful inconsistencies as part of the interaction with elements such as air, fire, wood, rocks.

Our clay vessels are created using sustainable and ethical production practices that have minimal impact on the environment. A stunning range of pieces from kitchenware to decorative art objects, all painstakingly crafted by hand without the aid of pottery wheels, resulting in unique and one-of-a-kind works that bear the mark of the artisan's hand. All the materials we use are natural, we transform from raw materials (clay, volcanic rock, cantera, mármol, ónix, bee's wax) to finished pieces without adding any type of chemical or stuff that could affect the natural energy of our products.
As the clay and stone come from the earth, and the process of building these beautiful objects is all natural we wanted to carry that over into the packaging as best we could. At this time the packing popcorn is biodegradable; just add water, and it will dissolve in minutes. This liquid can be added to your plants. The cardboard box, and kraft paper can be used in your compost. We reuse boxes and packing supplies, when we pick up our product from the artisans. It is very likely that if you did not buy your product in the store, you will receive the product with bubble wrap that we use to protect them in national and international shipments, sorry about that, promise we're in the process of finding a better material to replace plastic.
Our objects are created using natural materials and color (clay, soil, beeswax and a variety of stones), they don't require much care but still here you have very simple guidelines to ensure the good condition of your Apapacho's pieces.
All materials:
Use a duster, soft brush or a clean, soft cloth to remove dust.
In the specific case of clay with beeswax, if you notice that the shine diminishes after a few months, you can place the piece in the sun for a few minutes to warm it up and clean it with a soft, dry cloth to revive the shine. For tableware you can wash it as the regular products you use in the kitchen, just avoid dishwashers. The piece will develop a natural patina, and the glossiness will fade in some parts leaving a beautiful look.
